I had the distinct pleasure of meeting with (part of) this family this evening.  This sweet boy has been on retreat for 2 days prior to his FHC.  He celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation today in preparation for receiving Jesus tomorrow.  Such a precious time.  I love the tradition, I love this family's dedication to their faith.  Such joy.  Thank you A family.  Tomorrow is going to be a beautiful day as D continues deepening his relationship with Jesus!  Dios lo Bendiga!

I loved this little snippet of this family's tradition so much that I focused in on it while he was reading the Bible.  That ribbon, if you can't see it, reads, "First Holy Communion."

And, at last, he showed me his best Spiderman jump...beautifully holy, and yet, still a 2nd grade boy...(in case you can't tell, there is some height in that jump!  Sing with me, "Look out, here comes the spider man..." )  :)
